How to cleanse and condition 4c natural hair

Hi friends,

Thank you checking out my previous post, the introduction to All things Fro Blog. If you haven’t checked it out yet, click HERE to get to know me and this blog a little better.

Today, I am sharing my super easy and quick way I like to cleanse and condition my hair, AT THE SAME TIME!

4c natural hair

I use apple cider vinegar (ACV) mixed with water in a spray bottle and my favorite deep conditioner. Feel free to use any conditioner of your choice but if you don’t have a favorite deep conditioner of choice yet, I suggest you check out African’s Best Hair Mayonnaise. Also I will be sharing my top conditioners for 4c natural hair or afro texture natural hair soon. Here ACV is the cleaning agent. ACV is known to remove product residue, cleanse scalp and keep dandruff under control. Conditioner restores moisture back to the hair after it has been cleansed. Here we are doing both! what? Sometimes,  a girl just don’t have to spend hours on their hair in the name of “wash day” 4c natural hair

I usually split my hair in 4 sections! Have you ever heard of natural hair person who doesn’t work in sections? can I meet this person?

I spray the ACV and water mixture onto my hair then I add the conditioner, saturate my hair with the product then finger detangle. 4c natural hair

I put my hair in 2 strand twist and if I have a shower cap available, wear it, if not I leave it to do its thing. I don’t have a specific amount of time I leave it in for but enough time to do whatever chores I need to do at the time.

I rinse it out and proceed to style. I’ve doing this for about 6 months now on days when I need a “wash day” but don’t have a day to dedicate to it and it has served me well. My hair is left feeling and looking clean but also completely moisturized where it doesn’t feel the least bit stripped.

If you try this cleanse and condition method out, do let me know how it works for you.

xoxo
