It is a new year and it is action time.
I think I say this every year, but I do love me a fresh new year. I normally just pick a word I want to focus on through out the year but I struggled to pick one so I don’t feel comfortable sharing the words I thought off. If I pick something in the middle of the year I will be glad to share it.
Anyways, I want to focus on personal growth and I came up with 3 simple ways that will allow me to do that.
I have a confession, I suck at budgeting. I have downloaded the apps, I have listened to the podcasts, etc… I have done it all but I still suck. Around November of last year, I decided I was going to create a budgeting system that was simple and easy for me. I just bought a simple 94 cents notebook, and so far, I have been tweaking it and making it more easy and simple for myself. I hope to share it soon when I figure it out.
Explore my city/state
One of my goals last year was to explore the city I am currently residing but I wasn’t able to do so because you know, life. But I really want to make an effort to explore my community this year. The last thing I want is for summer to roll around and ask myself, “what have I done besides work this last 6 months?” There is so much to do and I only want to do some.
Create a morning and evening routine
I want so bad to create a morning routine that nourishes my soul. I feel like I am always in a hurry to leave the house. That is partly because I am unable to wake up. And that’s where the night routine comes in. I will love to create an evening routine that is just calm and allows me to sleep well that way I can wake up well.
