A Letter from Home

a simple calling blog

Dear my love,

I feel like I have to apologize for not being there for you. I have to apologize for not coming to you especially for the days you needed me most. I am sorry. I wish I could just appear to you at the right time and satisfy your longing.

I am well aware of your feeling of not belonging anywhere or with anyone. My heart aches for you. I do want you to find me. I do want to be that somewhere and someone for you. But I will need you to assist me just a bit more. You’ll have to define what I mean to you, you will have to create me with everything good your heart desires. I will try my best to be your adventure, your joy, the one you love to return to.

I will try my best for you. But do not be afraid of the longing that might persist even after you have me. I tell you this because I know that something greater awaits for you. The arms of the Father. That is where your true home would be. I love you and I am working on something for you. A temporary haven.

Yours in the works,
home
